Was the treaty of Versailles a mistake?

Germans were cruel to any nationality that wasn’t on their side especially Jews and others they destroyed lots of homes and factories and even families. It was so much money that was wasted and decided who should pay for the war. Usa helped Germany for funds and cannot pay back. They made engines and weapons to sell to other countries.

Germany had other overseas empire, which was Ghana and some of the Qing dynasty. They got all their resources from these places for. Germany had V spot engine, which was the top of the line. Germany wanted more and more money to pay funds by USA.

Germany had lost all their lands in France and Belgium and Denmark in the LON

A treaty in September 1919 broke up the Austrians empire up into independent countries. The plan was that the new countries created in the eastern Europe would buffer around Germany. It became a natter of pride Germany to recover its European especially the ones with loads of Germany.

The treaty of Versailles was signed for a settlement of peace and decided to punish the Germans that was a contract for the treaty. It was signed by the big 3 Woodrow Wilson, David Lloyd George, George Clemenceau. European countries could not have alliances because of the treaty and both of them had peace.
